For starters you should never give a collection agency your checking account information to a collection agency unless you do not keep any money in it. The violation of the law accrued when the manager asked the consumer to send in post dated checks.

(2) The acceptance by a debt collector from any person of a check or other payment instrument postdated by more than five days...
I wonder if this is the same manager at Federal Bond and Collection Services that tried to intimidate the consumer that caught him in the act on a recorded phone call. Just click anywhere you see the words "Federal Bond and Collection Service" in this post to hear the collection manager accuse the consumer of "Shaking Him Down"
